When materials such as CoCr and Ti are used, a titanium base is essentially not required as a bonding element between the conical abutment and the supra-structure, as the screw bearing is directly on the milled metal.
Although the use of titanium bases is not necessary in this case, the structure can be designed so that, regardless of the material chosen, titanium bases are used.
